  1. I have a skeleton of a course in place on my virtual campus site.
  2. I have a good critique tool embeded in my site.
  3. I have a really solid foundation for a unit project that has the potential to yield quite varried, but interesting results.
  4. I have researched Moodle, online photo tools, wiki’s, blog’s, online productivity tools.
  5. I have offered help with various app’s to other CyberCamper’s
  6. I have helped to establish another Professional Learning Community within our district.

It is easy to see the never ending journey in a new project that is not even crawling yet, but it is also easy to discount the progress made at such an early stage.

Rather, I was excited by the new friends I had made and the adventures we embarked upon together and separately. Our time together went by very quickly.  As expressed earlier, I hope that we can continue to communicate about our future adventures, those we embark upon together and those we pursue separately. It’s been a great ride so far.

I finally remembered the statement I had been racking my brain for earlier today:

“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” (unknown)

Go out and create!  I will see many of you soon at TIE. Now for some family time—Yahoo!

As I’m sitting in the lab, finishing my last “official” cyber camp post, Kay and Scott have figured out the Wii/Smartboard solution. Amazing! It’s a never ending cycle of learning.

Thank you Bud and Jerry! You have created an amazing opportunity. This has been a journey of discovery and has been a successful one. All of us have learned something that we will take with us into our teaching. With OUR learning, we will effect our students learning. How exciting to think about what we can do with our students now.

I am now focused on getting ready for a week of learning at TIE. I look forward to seeing some of you there.

I would say that more than anything else my mind, which was fairly open to begin with, has been pried
open.  With the loads of stuff that has been packed into the last two weeks I feel like it will be a while
before I really have it all meshed together in a tight format.

I look forward to the help that other CyberCampers will provide over the next few months as my project comes together.

I am very excited that I will be able to hang with my kids now, but I am very sad that I will not be seeing each of you every day. I have been challenged these last two weeks and it has been so much fun. I have loved each and every moment – even the frustrating ones.

I look forward to seeing everyone’s projects come to fruition. I hope you don’t mind if I borrow bits and pieces from each of you to bring to my students. Part of my goal as a computer lab teacher in the elementary is to teach my students the basics so you can do the advanced.

Please feel free to email me (or I will be watching the blog if it is going to stay active). I look forward to working with all of you in the future.
