I’ll admit it – I’m already suffering some CyberCamp withdrawal. But that’s okay – as I suspect there’s more on the way from the CyberCampers. Plenty more, based on what I saw happening in our classroom and here on the blog.

In a sense, today is the REAL first day of CyberCamp – the first day when posting or sharing isn’t in some way mandated by someone else. I hope folks will continue to sharing their work and learning here, in this space. I look forward to reading more from you, CyberCampers, from learning from you as you continue to learn.

I’m grateful for all of your hard work so far, and I know there’s plenty more to do. I’m eager to see your projects happen, and to participate as I can in them. To paraphrase Garrison Keillor’s catchphrase for his daily Writer’s Almanac podcast, I hope you’re well, doing good work, and that you keep in touch.

Well, I finished another tutorial, but I feel like everything I am learning this week is just going in one ear and out the other. I am trying to retain all this info, but my brain is struggling. I used to think I was fairly smart, but today I was irritated and confused and exhausted. Did I accomplish some things today? Yes, but there are always more bleeping questions. I am tired of uncovering more questions, I feel like I am trapped in an episode of Lost. That stoopid show makes more sense to me than what I am trying to accomplish. Pbpth.

here is a fun time waster I discovered today… it helps control the crazy

I’ve already been surprised at how many friends and colleagues from other places have stopped by. I am grateful. Teachers from our district, colleagues from other projects – tons of great folks already sharing themselves with us. There’s lots to learn here. Looking forward to tomorrow. Speaking of – I’ve still got to prepare my WiP presentation. It’ll be nice to be thinking explicitly about connective writing again. I sort of made some promises that I’d really like to keep.
