I finished my first flip chart, but it doesn’t have a ton of bells and whistles.  I want to interact with it a bit on the active board before I get further into it.  In all honesty, my project is feeling a little undefined at the moment.  I am struggling to try and find a focus.  Anyone?  Anyone? (shameless call for comments to validate my difficult technosperience)

I want to build on my moodle sites, I want to figure out a website that my newspaper students can interact with, and I want to download the new Coldplay CD.  But I am pretty proud of myself for importing my bookmarks from the Citrix explorer to my computer explorer without asking for help.

But am I getting a good grade?

gah…

    Hi Sarah,

I’d love to see more of your flipchart. Can you post a link to it?

You know that continuing to look, explore, and learn is certainly worth an A. You also know that the grades aren’t important.

I am continually impressed by the way that you keep approaching technology, even though you have concerns, because you think there’s value there. I think your project, approaching technology and what it can offer to you and your students as you learn how to use your new classroom, is a valuable one.

There are too many people blindly excited about the “power” of tech without ever stopping to think about the possible drawbacks to its use.

That said, how do we encapsulate your project a wee bit more so that you feel more comfortable? CyberCampers, we need your help!

Great post! I can certainly relate to your sentiments. Last week I had been working intensely on a presentation and was having great difficulty getting to the meat and really bringing out the ‘A’ha!’ moment. In the end, I created an outstanding presentation but will not be presenting at the intended conference. That’s okay – now I have a backup ready. What you are searching for is there – sometimes it just takes a little longer to internalize and conceptualize the major points you want to share with your audience.
