First, let me say that our group WiPs have been instrumental in providing lots of food for thought. I applaud our group’s efforts and look forward to next week.
Second, my goal for this weekend is to put together 3 skeleton websites:
1) Using Will Richardson’s idea from Blogs, Wiki’s and Pocasts and Other Powerful Tools for Classrooms.
I plan to take a look at Will’s idea of using a weblog as a website – weblog/dynamic, website/static
2) Using a Jerry Ohrt and Amy’s idea – use the St Vrain Valley School district’s virtual campus to create a school website.
3) Use Dreamweaver to create a school website.
If you have any other ideas, please feel free to comment and let me know your great ideas!

Ah, Joanne! You are so wise…..like a miniature hairy Buddha! (The reference is from Anchor Man, so don’t get mad at me for calling you miniature…or hairy…or Buddha. ) If you are mad at me, you can get even with me somehow at TIE.

Joanne,
I can’t wait to hear the results and realizations from your weekend project of creating the skeletons for these three different type of “websites”. I’d love to hear the results. Sounds like the information you gain would be valuable to document and share with other librarians and colleagues. I hope what you find is totally exciting and you have the opportunity to share it in a meeting, conference or perhaps journal article in “Colorado Libraries”.
Don’t forget to “have a weekend” in the middle of it all as well. I know that I get into something on the computer and then realize that the weekend is over and that is all I have done. Then I want a weekend “do over”.

O.k., so I saw Anchor Man, but may not have seen the whole thing….. therefore I don’t get the hairy buddha reference. No, I’m not offended, I’ve been called worse, but I’d love to be let in on the joke.
I’ll ask my son-in-law, he’ll know….
