Kent made a really good suggestion that we should, as a camp, build an asset map of the tools and ideas and resources that we’re talking about. I thought it might make sense to make a digital one that we could work from and share with each other. Here it is. (Help me make it better. I’ve sent each of you an invitation to edit it – once you’ve accepted, I can give you full editing rights.)

The asset map was a great idea. Thanks Kent, for the suggestion, and Bud, for the invite. I’ve added a few bubbles to it — feel free to change anything if it doesn’t fit the overall goal of the class or doesn’t make sense.
I think I have found the tool to replace my sticky-note system. My entire map will be quite large and, if printed, would make a nice wallpaper for my office. But, on the computer, it is much more fun to mark off each little bubble, when completed or accomplished, and watch it explode in a little ball of flame. There’s a certain satisfaction to that!

Sorry if anyone stumbled upon the Asset Map and found all MY personal summer projects instead (blush). Note to self: “don’t hit save before you create a new filename”.
However, if you liked the projects and would like to work on those, let me know…
