I know that my project is focusing on Digital Photography, but project based learning is making me think a bit about the way an art class can be done collaboratively. Models that are shown in the book really showcase the strengths of having students work in learning communities. How do I use this idea of collaboration in a meaningful way in an art class where students ultimately prduce their own individual work? Let me know if you have any ideas about how to do this, or things that have worked.

Why not have students in some type of group where they have to present their progress informally (like we do in this class) to each other and get feedback. Hopefully will turn in to a collaborative and helpful situation.
