Read from our text during the thunderstorm this afternoon. I was afraid to touch anything electrical with the lightning striking all around me.

Good old John Dewey just keeps popping up everywhere. I was thinking about him as I read chapters 1-3 earlier this week. Then yesterday, Bud and I were going on and on about Dewey,educational reform, project based learning during our book discussion. Take a look at the list on page 65—-last item: have students learn by doing. Dewey again! He is my hero although it’s getting a little creepy how often he is popping up.
