Today I most enjoyed our book discussion both within our book groups and with the class as a whole. I really like the motto of “Teach less, learn more” from the Ministery of Education in Singapore. I also appreciated the idea of looking after yourself and each other from the disucssion of Professional Learning Communities.
I am going to sit down tonight with the questions on p 57 and ponder them in relationship to my project.
I must admit I am feeling intimidated about the idea of sharing my project ideas with the group. I know that 2 days in camp I shouldn’t feel as if I have to have everything done, but hey, that’s me.
Got to run for now. My family calls…

Day 2 at CyberCamp, I am learning how much I DON’T know!
What I DO know:
Forget what I know
Open up to new types of software that are free!
The book is a great starting place for discussion…
My challenge today (and tonite!) is to “join a well-designed project that is already underway” (p.38)
Have attempted searched for other schools that do the same project we did (I know they are out there!) but have used Googles wiki search and icerocket with no luck…
However I have found a program that simulates loading a bridge, and will make use of it in this unit.
I feel good but overwhelmed, when we feel some discomfort, we must be learning, right??
Also got a good start on Moodle-ing thanks to Bud and Jerry- thanks!

Dottie,
I agree that often when we feel overwhelmed it is a sign that we are doing some hard thinking and suffering growing pains! I think we are all there, so don’t feel alone.
