So I am sitting here, watching hockey, thinking about the day and how the hockey season extends into June… But mostly I am thiking about the day. What did I learn today? Well the afternoon went so fast because I was entrenched in this software and the tutorials. Bud thinks I was a success because I knew the difference between publishing mode and design mode, but I still can’t figure out how to get the background untiled. Ugh.
Sometimes, when I am surrounded by technology (which is supposed to make our lives easier) I think of Thoreau. Would Thoreau have wanted an iPhone? Would his articulations about our values and beliefs have been as articulate in a blog? Half of me wants that technology, and the other half wants to live in a cabin by the sea with only paper. Technology is a HUGE issue… so many different things to think about.
But mostly, it was a good day. I learned lots of new things. I would say more 10:2 processing would help me. The new information is sooo new that I am building a context for it.

I want to sit by the fire camping in the woods by a stream but I’d have my laptop with me if I could get wifi access and power. Sometimes life hands you situations that are better for you than you are for yourself. So instead we watched the shooting stars and found blooming barrel cactus! And now I write about it on my bberry.
