In keeping with the haiku theme:
What I know here, now
Will I forget tomorrow?
Facing the future….
I’ve never been a poet. It has been quite a day packed with brain altering changes of all that is possible. The format of this class is perfect for my style of learning. I love the ability to work during the afternoon at home in the backyard with the teenage boy neighbor’s music blaring, and the birds chirping and the cat sitting on my lap. My internet connection is fast and we’re able to meet as a group in the a.m., ask questions of Bud and Jerry and generally interact. Fabulous!
I created an yahoo avatar, but haven’t uploaded it yet. I tagged my website design sites on delicious with cybercamp08, and although I remember Bud saying that anything tagged in delicious would come up on our edublog site, I thought he meant his delicious account, but I see that my 13 links are starting to show up there too. As these sites pertain to websites and dreamweaver, I can change my tags….
I’m looking forward to reading and discussing our book, Reinventing Project-Based Learning, it looks like the authors have done a superb job of writing this book.
Off to paint, until tomorrow,
Joanne

Don’t change your tagging – I’d love to see all the resources that find their way into CyberCamp. I’ll post perma-links to the stuff that I think we need to keep on the front page.
Glad the pacing works for you – I hope it stays useful. Glad you’re here. Or there. Or both. You know.

And now you are a published poet.
See?
Nice work on your reflection.

This is how I pursue it
Go until overwhelmed
Stop, rest, restore
Take care of things
Go again until overwhelmed
Each time a little further
Each time a little more confident
Each time overwhelmed again
Learning to handle overwhelmed
Pushing further each time
Feeling good
Learning more
Making progress
Letting go
Experimenting
Having fun
Mastering

very nice poetry! I think you are implementing Bloom’s higher levels of thinking when you write your reflection in a poem. Good on ya!

Kevin of Western Mass:
I try to get my library kids excited about posting their first blog; puffing up the part of being a “published” blogger. Very exciting stuff!
Thanks for your comments.

Dottie,
A Professional Organization of English Majors , POEM? And I have listened to A Prairie Home Companion for years, but obviously not close enough – otherwise I may have purchased the t-shirt: http://www.prettygoodgoods.org/product/show/31755
Well, it’s not too late….

Connie,
A lesson in keeping Overwhelmed in check. I suppose this is how many of us eventually make progress, learn, succeed and have fun!
