CyberCamp Day 1 - Writing Out

Connective Writing · WiP

It’s been a long and interesting day here at CyberCamp - I feel a little guilty because I threw so much information at folks - but I’m looking forward to seeing if what we’re trying to do (all work on something different, together, transparently) can work.  I believe very strongly that it can.

I’ve already been surprised at how many friends and colleagues from other places have stopped by. I am grateful.  Teachers from our district, colleagues from other projects - tons of great folks already sharing themselves with us.  There’s lots to learn here.  Looking forward to tomorrow.  Speaking of - I’ve still got to prepare my WiP presentation.  It’ll be nice to be thinking explicitly about connective writing again.  I sort of made some promises that I’d really like to keep.

What is it that you hope to do with connective writing? What are the issues? the benefits?

Excellent questions. Will address them in tomorrow’s presentation. You can find some of the answers in the post I linked to above, too.

    Hi Bud
    Good luck with camp.

Did you bring the marshmellow and graham crackers and chocolate bars?

    Cyber-Smores.
    :)
